Today, Montreal boasts one of the world’s largest urban agriculture programs, with over 8,500 plots in 97 gardens, 75 collective gardens and numerous private initiatives, not to mention the fact that 30% of the Greater Montreal population (light marketing survey) claim to grow edible plants.

A three-storey project with rooftop gardens, housing a training and interpretation center for urban agriculture in Montreal. The center features retail space, a stand-alone bistro, aquaponics facilities, as well as a grain library and mushroom cultivation area.
